I chose a restrictive license because I don’t really want my pictures being used for nefarious purposes. I do understand that using the Creative Commons license does still allow my pictures or posts to be used. However, the user must state what was changed and give me full credit.
There are many ways to license your work, with varying degrees of protection. Creative Commons is one place to get such a license. They are a company set out to promote the sharing of ideas and knowledge. They do, however, want this to be done legally! They provide the licensing for free, but do accept donations.
